I love it! My daughter is starting OM Hero's Journey soon, and I was wondering if you found the Write it Right book helpful? We have the syllabus, but I have been wondering if we really need the writing handbook. Hope to see more posts on how your year is going with this curriculum :)
Write It Right is good, but too expensive for what it is. It's very slim. The information in it is available from many other sources, some of them free. We really like the Online Writing Lab at Purdue University (The Purdue OWL) for composition help.

We're taking a block approach this year, and we'll be resting after the next Lesson and doing world history. Then we'll pick up again with Kidnapped sometime in November.
